How I can help

What changes when we work together

I come to your home and your streets, and coach you as well as your dog — so the results still work once I've gone.

A calm Samoyed settled on a raised bed in the garden

A calmer home

Predictable routines that settle your dog. No more barking at the door or the window.

A client confidently walking two dogs on lead together

Confidence on the lead

You'll know what to do when a trigger appears, instead of bracing for it.

A client sitting outside a cafe with her relaxed dachshund

A dog who listens

Your dog responds because they want to, not because they're being managed.

Walks you enjoy again

Ordinary outings, without the tension, the pulling or the scanning ahead.

Why work with me

Why I'm different

  • I come to you — home visits across Lincoln
  • WhatsApp support between sessions, with short session videos & photos
  • Built around your real life, not a training hall
  • I've trained hundreds of owners, not just dogs

No conflicting advice, no judgement, no jargon.

Who it's for

Is this right for you?

This is for you if…

  • Your dog barks, lunges or pulls, and walks have stopped being fun
  • You want to understand your dog, not just manage them
  • You can practise for ten minutes most days
  • You'd rather be coached in your own home than sit in a class

It's probably not for you if…

  • You want a quick fix. This takes weeks, not one session
  • You want your dog trained without you. I coach you too
  • Your dog has bitten, or aggression is the main issue — that needs my behaviour programme instead
Don't take my word for it

What my clients say

“I was told by a different trainer that he couldn't be trained, was rather stupid, and too big… Now I'm walking him on my own. Tyson waits at the door till I say he can go. His recall is brilliant.”

★★★★★ Deborah F. Olde English Bulldogge

“We reached out for help with our Samoyed, Maverick, who was struggling with severe over-excitement, constant barking, jumping all over visitors… Daily life is far calmer, walks and greetings are under control.”

★★★★★ Paul A. Samoyed

“When I approached Anna, I was at my wits end!… Our walks are now calm and enjoyable, she no longer pulls like a freight train.”

★★★★★ Helen R. Jack Russell cross

“The transformation has been incredible, our poodle is much calmer, more responsive and we are more confident in handling situations that we used to dread.”

★★★★★ Claire M. fear-reactive Standard Poodle

“Lionel, who used to think pulling me along was his job, is now an absolute pleasure to walk, and Bruce is so much calmer and far less reactive… Anna hasn't just trained the dogs, she's trained me too!”

★★★★★ Fiona W. two French Bulldogs

“I have found a new love for Winnie on this journey and a sense of calm and harmony with a bond and relationship I never thought we could have.”

★★★★★ Claire T. Cavapoo
FAQs

Things people usually ask

I've already tried trainers and classes. Why would this be different?

Most people who come to me have been through exactly that. The difference is this isn't a one-off session where you get some advice and then you're on your own. It's one-to-one, in your home and your neighbourhood, with a plan to work from and WhatsApp support between sessions.

What does it cost?

Every dog and every household is different, so I price the programme around what you actually need. I'll walk you through it on the free call, once I understand what you're dealing with. There's no obligation, and you can spread payment via PayPal's Pay in 3.

How long until I see results?

Most clients see a difference after the second session. More complex issues — reactivity in particular — take longer, and depend on consistency between sessions as much as during them.

Are you a dog trainer or a behaviourist?

Both. I do everyday training, and I run a separate programme for reactivity and other behaviour problems.

I don't work to one fixed method. Training is communication: I give your dog clear, consistent information so they always know where they stand, and I show you how to do the same. Dogs settle when life is predictable — a lot of what looks like bad behaviour is simply a dog who doesn't know what's expected.

No vet referral needed. If I think pain or a medical issue may be playing a part, I'll say so and suggest a vet check alongside our work.

What breeds do you work with?

Any breed. I've worked with everything from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds. The programme is tailored to your dog, whatever they are.
